Ocean Roar returns this Saturday
Get your engines revving for the return of the Ocean Roar Premiership Series – Sunshine Coast at Kings Beach this Saturday.
Alexandra Headland, Bribie Island, Coolum Beach, Dicky Beach, Kawana, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Mudjimba and Metropolitan Caloundra Surf Life Saving Clubs will battle it out in the water for the first carnival of the 2020/21 season.
Surf Life Saving Queensland Sport Event Coordinator Ryan Bennett said there would be 33 races throughout the day.

“For lifesaving, it’s our version of a high-octane, high speed event with fast boats and big motors revving,” Bennett said.
“There will be surf, team, tube and mass rescue events.
“It’s a free event, so anyone is welcome to come by and watch.”
The first race starts at 9am at Kings Beach, Caloundra on Saturday 1 August.
