Member Update: Greater Brisbane Lockdown

SLSQ are waiting for further advice from the QLD Government in relation to the current COVID restrictions in Queensland,  and in particular the Brisbane, Redland, Logan and Moreton Bay regional councils. 

Queensland Health is continuing to actively respond to the declared public health emergency in relation to coronavirus (COVID-19). 

 From 5pm, Monday, 29 March 2021, the following Directions came into effect:

Queensland COVID-19 Restricted Areas Direction (No.13)

Restrictions for Impacted Areas Direction (No.3)

Restrictions for Queensland Direction

Members, Clubs and Branches will be provided with an update on surf lifesaving operations across Queensland prior to the commencement of patrols on the weekend. 

We encourage you all to continue to practice social distancing and follow health authorities advice. If you are unwell please stay home.
