Every surf sports competition needs a dedicated and well-trained team of officials. Much like any sport, umpire or referee, the role of a Surf Sports Official is to act as an impartial and balanced judge across all competition and fulfil obligations with accuracy, consistency, objectivity and a high sense of integrity. Without officials, there’d be no surf sports competition!

Requirements

To become a fully-qualified Level 1 Surf Sports Official, you must:

Be at least 16 years of age
Hold a valid Blue Card
SLSA Membership
