Event First Aid

Use your first aid skills to protect and treat competitors and participants at sporting events.

Every surf lifesaving sporting and special event requires a dedicated and well-trained team of First Aid Officers working behind the scenes. As part of the event first aid team, you will be responsible for providing competitors and participants with basic first aid and assistance if and when required. At times, in more serious cases, you may be required to liaise with emergency service organisations and/or call for professional medical support

Event First Aid Officers require:

  • a valid Blue Card
  • current First Aid Certificate
  • a sound knowledge of surf life saving reporting protocols, policies and procedures
