Director of Lifesaving

Club Management

Use your leadership skills to save lives, taking charge of your club’s lifesaving operations.

The Club Director of Lifesaving will liaise with the Executive and other key position-holders, in particular the Chief Training Officer, Club Captain, and the Youth & Membership Officer, to ensure a smooth and efficient conduct of club lifesaving services. 

The Director of Lifesaving also chairs Lifesaving Committee meetings.


Requirements

To become a Director of Lifesaving you must be:

  • a financial member of the surf life saving club
  • a holder of a valid Blue Card
  • a minimum of 18 years of age
  • have a solid understanding of the Surf Life Saving Queensland Patrol Operations Manual and associated policies and procedures, and able to attend branch/state meetings, as required.
