International Water Skills Assessment
The International Water Skills Assessment is a minimum standard for international home stay students who would like to participate in water activities while staying Queensland.
This assessment includes demonstration of basic water and survival skills that a student would need to keep themselves safe in an aquatic environment.
Surf Life Saving Queensland staff can come and deliver the assessment with qualified lifesavers as water safety and assessors.
All participants receive a certificate of competency to state if completed or not completed.
Surf Life Saving Queensland has a COVID-19 Safe Industry Plan in place for all our programs.
Cost
Please contact our Community Awareness team for a quote as the price depends on the number of students and duration.
The school will need to organise a pool for the assessment to be conducted in.
