The Cotton Tree, Maroochydore, Alexandra Headlands and Mooloolaba areas are all close to the State Champs action and offer a mix of luxury resorts, stylish apartments, spacious holiday houses, beachside caravan parks and camping areas, as well as backpacker hostels.

Visitors often comment that with so much accommodation on offer, the Sunshine Coast still feels pleasantly uncrowded rather than built up! To find out more about your accommodation options for the State Champs weekends and to book please CLICK HERE

See and Do

There’ll never be a shortage of things to see and do on your Sunshine Coast visit. With glorious sunny days and warm water most of the year, its an ideal place for outdoor sports and recreation, alfresco dining, hiking, swimming, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, cycling, golfing and shopping.

Whether your ideal holiday is spending all day horizontal on the beach under a clear blue sky, hiking in the hinterland, or fishing by a peaceful river, you’ll find the Sunshine Coast is, in many ways, a populated nature reserve.
