State Board Riding ChampionshipsThe 2012 Queensland Board Riding Championships will be hald across two days from 18-19 February at Dicky Beach on the Sunshine Coast. A recent addition to the surf sports calendar, the Championships were introduced as an important tool to recruit new members and retain members who traditionally left lifesaving to pursue other sports such as surfing. The third annual Queensland championships will see competitors from Under-11 right through to Masters hit the waves and showcase their skills on both long and short boards in their quest for state glory.
