Our Sponsors
Through the generosity of our sponsors and partner organisations, Surf Life Saving Queensland aims to reduce the cost for clubs to purchase gear, equipment and education resources, participate in lifesaving activities and surf sports, and support our ongoing fundraising efforts. Our sponsors contribute funding and in-kind support for the direct and indirect benefit of our clubs and our members.
Westpac

As the partnership between Westpac and Surf Life Saving Queensland turns
34, the banking corporation’s support can now be felt in virtually
every aspect of the movement. Westpac’s generosity allows us to ensure
our eyes in the sky, the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopters remain a
vital and well-run service and a universally recognised presence in the
air. Westpac staff actively support many SLSQ’s events, such as
answering telephones as the Channel Nine Surf Safe Appeal. It is their
commitment to the many threads of Surf Life Saving Queensland’s work
that has made it such a valued partner for more than three decades. |

our beaches. DHL is also a huge supporter of SLSQ’s recognition programs

beach safety. The telco also helps to supply Queensland clubs with

Government partner since 2006, and together we are working to make a
healthier Queensland through the promotion of sun safety messages and a
healthy lifestyle. As well as providing mandatory safety signage on the
beach, the Department of Health has lent its support to sun safety awareness
through the provision of long-sleeved rash vests for Junior Activities
water safety officers. A further sun safety initiative was co-branded
sunscreen with SLSQ and the Queensland Government logos which is distributed on
the beach at various events. The Department of Health has also collaborated
with SLSQ to produce a range of informative education materials, which
have been widely distributed to Queensland schools, health providers,
tourism operators, visitor information centres and corporate partners |
