Surf sports is one of the cornerstones of the surf lifesaving movement, allowing competitors to pursue a healthy lifestyle and gain recognition for their sporting efforts at the same time.

Each season Surf Life Saving Queensland’s premier sporting events continue grow in stature and in competitor numbers. Queensland athletes and clubs have also continued to dominate national and international competition, building the state’s reputation and proving our investment in surf sports is reaping rewards at all levels.

This summer Queensland's top lifesavers will line up across the state to take on the surf and sand, promising to be the most exciting season of sport on the beach. Young and old, professionals and beginners alike, will come together at a beach near you, delivering a thrilling carnival that you won't want to miss.
