Member Welfare and Protection

Surf Life Saving Queensland and its affiliated clubs and branches, are committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of all members. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment for those participating in surf lifesaving activities. The SLSA Member Safety and Wellbeing Policy provides the guiding framework to ensure the safety of our members.

SLSQ further endeavors to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people through the implementation of our Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy as required by The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 and the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Regulation 2001. A key component of this strategy includes the policies and procedures regarding the blue card system.
