Our Clubs

Surf Life Saving Queensland is proud to be a volunteer organisation that has experienced steady growth in volunteer numbers. Our clubs and our members are the heart and soul of our organisation. The volunteers, who constantly give up their time both on and off the beach, are integral to our continued success. They come from all walks of life and they are involved with surf lifesaving for many different reasons. They may enjoy being a part of their local community, contributing to make their communities safer, acquiring new skills, staying fit and active, volunteering as a family or simply because it's fun.

Our 36,000 members are organised into six lifesaving branches and 59 affiliated surf life saving clubs in Queensland.
