Surf Life Saving is proud of the quality and calibre of our members who provide an invaluable voluntary service to the community. Today there are 36,000 members from the 59 Surf Life Saving Clubs around Queensland, who give countless hours to keep the public safe at our beaches.

SLSQ aims to grow, retain and reward our membership base to provide them with the knowledge and skills to assist them develop into quality lifesavers. The safety and wellbeing of our members remains our first and foremost priority in all activities and our dedicated membership area looks after our members through providing development opportunities, award programs and protection policies to reach our goal of healthy membership.
