Commercial and Community Training

Surf Life Saving Queensland is a Registered Training Organisation and delivers aquatic rescue and emergency care training to the community.  Our purpose is to bring more than a century of lifesaving experience from the beach to the home, school or workplace; because we don’t believe the skills needed to save a life should be restricted to the sand.

We offer a variety of nationally accredited and non-accredited courses, including:

• First Aid
• CPR
• Defibrillation
• Advanced Resuscitation, and
• Low Voltage Rescue

SLSQ also runs school-based emergency care and aquatic rescue programs, for both students and teachers. Our Nationally Recognised Training courses have great benefits for students of Queensland high schools and many courses can be counted towards a students' Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
